Gabrielle and Spencer met in the summer of 2020 and quickly formed a deep, effortless connection that blossomed into lasting love. The Beginning of Us...
We met in July of 2020, during a time when the world felt uncertain and distant. But in the midst of a pandemic, something unexpectedly beautiful happened. We crossed paths at a mutual friend’s house, and from the very first moment, there was a quiet kind of magic between us.
Spencer’s kindness shone through immediately he stood up and offered his seat without hesitation, then pulled up another chair and placed it right next to mine. That small gesture set the tone for everything that followed.
We spent the evening talking and laughing the kind of conversation that made time disappear. There was an ease between us, a natural connection filled with gentle teasing and soft smiles. It felt like the beginning of something real. We made plans to see each other the next day, by the spark we’d just discovered.
From that moment on, everything unfolded naturally, beautifully, and with so much heart.
Who made the first move?
Spencer did. But according to him, I was clearly flirting just by crossing my legs.
Who’s taking out the trash?
Whoever leaves the house first!
Most memorable date?
Our first Valentine's Day was something straight out of a Hallmark movie. Spencer brought me to Orangeburg, South Carolina his hometown. He had planned every detail, from massages and a beautiful dinner to ending the night with a candlelit hot tub under the stars. It felt like we'd known each other forever. That evening will always be one of my favorite memories.
Favorite activity together?
Shooting pool though only one of us wins every time. (Love only takes you so far!)
Where’s the honeymoon?
Somewhere with stunning beaches!
Most memorable trip?
Turks and Caicos (round two!). Last November’s trip was unforgettable and it’s also when Spencer found the most gorgeous engagement ring ever.
